About the Recipe
Beef Stroganoff is so yummy and this recipe is better than some from scratch versions I've tried. It's simple, easy and freezable so you can make some for dinner and freeze the rest!

Ingredients
2 packages - Stroganoff Knorr Side Dish (see package for additional ingredients)
1 lb burger (more or less depending on preference)
4 - 8-ounce cans Mushrooms Or small container of fresh mushrooms.
1 diced onion
1 brick (8oz) cream cheese
1 - 8oz container of sour cream
Additional season to preference: Salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder.
Preparation
Make Knor Stroganoff as directed. May substitute heavy cream for milk.
Brown burger meat - careful not to get it crispy.
Add mushrooms, cream cheese & seasonings.
If serving immediately cook till noodles are tender
If freezing simmer till noodles are about 3/4 done as they will finish when re-heated.
Add sour cream just before serving.
** To reheat from frozen, pull out of freezer 1-2 days before using. Dump contents into a saucepan, and simmer till heated through and noodles are tender. Plate and add a dollop of sour cream to the top.
